INTERNSHIP - Whitfield Sign Co.
As an intern, I was given the opportunity to design three athletic facility upgrades for Georgia Southwestern Athletics. This includes a revamped baseball locker room, softball locker room, and recruiting area (hallway and room). After the completion and approval of my designs, I created production-ready files for the Whitfield team to use in the eventual construction and installation phase. This process is currently underway and photos will be posted when available.
With the oversight of my internship supervisor, I mostly worked independently to craft the visual look for these projects. For the below mockups, I used on-site photos and edited the visual elements with Adobe Photoshop. For the production-ready files (not pictured), I recreated the visuals in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop with the exact size specifications needed for the physical space. In the end, this was a new process for me, and I learned a great deal from this highly valuable internship at Whitfield.
